Specialization in Learning and Life Skills (Pathway)*

Paying this fee establishes your candidacy in the program for a period of 2 years, and allows you to access a variety of program benefits, including:

• Advising and support from a UCLA Extension Student Advisor
  A printed award mailed to you after completion of your final class
• Notation of the specialization program on your UCLA Extension transcript

You will need the following documents to complete the Pathway application:

• When filing out the applicant information please make sure the primary email is the applicant and not the parent. All future academic correspondence will go directly to the email on file. 
• Exit IEP from high school (if applying for Pathway within two years of graduation or completion)
• Most recent IPP from the Regional Center, if applicable
• Reference Form (Please download, complete page 1, and send to your reference. Once completed, please have your reference send it directly to pathway@uclaextension.edu)
• Three references are required.
  • One reference should be from a teacher
  • Two should be from non-relatives who have known you for at least six months
• Note: If you do not have an IEP or IPP, you must submit a psychological evaluation
