Specialization in Learning and Life Skills (Pathway)*

Paying this fee establishes your candidacy in the program for a period of 5 years, and allows you to access a variety of program benefits, including:

• Advising and support from a UCLA Extension Student Affairs Officer (SAO)
• A printed award mailed to you after completion of your final class
• Notation of the specialization program on your UCLA Extension transcript

You will need the following documents to complete the Pathway application:

• Exit IEP from high school (if applying for Pathway within two years of graduation or completion)
• Most recent IPP from the Regional Center, if applicable
• Reference Form (Please download, complete page 1, and send to your reference. Once completed, please have your reference send it directly to pathway@uclaextension.edu)
• Three references are required.
  • One reference should be from a teacher
  • Two should be from non-relatives who have known you for at least six months
• Note: If you do not have an IEP or IPP, you must submit a psychological evaluation
