Winter 2024 Concurrent Enrollment Form Request 

1. If the course requested is eligible for Concurrent Enrollment you will receive an email with a digital copy of the Concurrent Enrollment Application to be completed through DocuSign. Subsequently if the course requested is not eligible for concurrent enrollment, you will receive an email notification that your application has been denied. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response to your online application. Please check you spam/junk mail for an email from Docusign. 

2. Instructions for completing the digital Concurrent Enrollment Application will be included through DocuSign. 2-3 business days after completion, you will be granted complete access to course materials via CCLE and MyUCLA. Be sure to attend class in the mean time. If payment for the course is not received by the enrollment deadline you will automatically be dropped from the course after the 3rd week. 

3. Please review the Approvals and Requirements list for the various departments, if there are no Additional Requirements simply go to the instructor and request they sign their version of the same Docusign form. If it is a course that has Additional Requirements, follow those directions instead.

4. When you select "Apply Now" you will be prompted to login to the UCLA Extension Student Portal. If you already have a login, please login in under "I'm Already A Student". If this is your first time studying through UCLA Extension, please create a profile under "I'm A New Student" .

5. In order to complete the online concurrent enrollment form request, you will need the following information:

  • Course Title Example: CHEM 14BL - General and Organic Chemistry Lab
  • Department/Subject Area Example: Art, History, Math, Physics, etc.
  • Class ID (9-digit number) For the class ID, refer to the UCLA Schedule of Classes
  • Instructor Name
  • UCLA Student ID Number (UID) *May be left blank if unknown
  • Email Address

6. Once you have entered all information, select "Submit Application"

On the DocuSign form, list all Course ID numbers specifically for that section, including Lectures, Discussions, and or Labs so access to course materials can be granted accordingly.

There can potentially be multiple sections for the same course. Each section will require a separate Concurrent Enrollment Form Request.

Approval Requirements for Concurrent Enrollment:

Several Departments and Schools require a co-signature or authorization by someone other than the instructor in all cases. To view the concurrent enrollment restrictions please refer to your Study Abroad Orientation or email your Study Abroad Advisor directly. 

Late enrollment (in the fourth week) is subject to a $50 late enrollment fee. No enrollment after the fourth week of the term.

Enrollments are depended on the approval signatures and some departments will not sign off on the form until after 3-4 weeks into the quarter. Exceptions can be made in such cases.
