The Enrolled Agent (EA) Program covers primary aspects of tax preparation procedures and regulations with an emphasis on career entry and advancement through attaining the Enrolled Agent certification. The target audience for this specialization will be current tax preparers who have a desire for expanding their practice by becoming an EA, as well as those considering a career transition into tax preparation, ranging from recent community college graduates to retirees looking for a viable encore career.

The 4-course Enrolled Agent Program can be completed within 6 months, and consists of one tax preparation foundation course and the current 3-course Enrolled Agent Review program which has been successfully offered by UCLA Extension over many years. Students completing the Enrolled Agent Program will be ready to sit for the Enrolled Agent certification examination.
