The Medical Device Engineering Certificate is designed to provide the core knowledge and fundamental skills required for those involved and or entering the field of medical devices design, manufacturing, quality control, biomaterials, biocompatibility, and European and U.S. FDA regulatory approvals. This program is intended for new graduates in areas related to medical device engineering, professionals seeking advancement in their position or to upgrade skills, managers and leaders of technical teams in medical devices, team members who want to understand the scope of their projects, and suppliers to the medical device industry. The certificate consists of 6 courses totaling 24 units, including 5 required courses and at least one elective course.
