The General Business Studies Certificate with Concentration in Leadership is a 36-unit program offered by the Department of Business, Management, and Legal Programs and is intended for individuals whose unique personal interest or profession requires them to take a series of courses in management or communications with an emphasis on leadership skills. In addition to the 6 required leadership courses and the 24 units of elective coursework in the academic discipline of Management, candidates must successfully complete one of the designated ethics courses at any time during the program.
All courses to be applied toward this certificate must be taken for a letter grade. Students must complete and pass the curricular requirements of the program and earn an overall 2.5 GPA or better to achieve certificate award.
