Course Description
This course is designed to help you develop a stronger understanding of lighting for motion pictures. Through lectures, workshops, assignments, and in-class exercises, you learn about different lighting styles and techniques. Special emphasis is placed on lighting tailored specifically for the story and the emotional impact that lighting can have on the audience. The class focuses both on theory and practical application of the concepts presented. Throughout the course, visual references are discussed, and completed assignments and supervised exercises are screened and critiqued in class.Course Outline
