Course Description

This course focuses on such issues as environment and health, disaster, the ecosystem, environmental policy, sustainability, environmental justice, environmental risk, globalization, ecofeminism, environmental attitudes and behaviors, the social construction of nature and several strands of the environmental movement.

Course Outline

This course focuses on the relationship between society and the environment. Detailed analysis of interrelations between social factors and environmental factors.
