Course Description
The course, designed for those with either present or future aspirations to higher-level public relations positions, looks at the execution of key managerial PR functions in corporations, agencies, and nonprofit organizations. Instruction examines such responsibilities as staffing, budgeting, and problem-solving techniques, as well as designing PR campaigns and communication strategies. Additional topics to be discussed include the ethical and legal concerns of a PR executive and the advisory role he/she plays.Course Outline
