MGMT X 441 - Ethics in Finance
Course Description
This course focuses on ethical issues confronted by financial professionals, with attention to recent financial crises, and the latest developments affecting ethics within the financial world. Students will get an overview of ethical standards in finance, including the primary elements necessary to make proper ethical decisions. The course also covers fundamentals of ethics in finance; the retail customer; investments; financial markets; financial management; key definitions, issues, and general theories of business and finance ethics; and examples from scandals that have shaken public confidence in Wall Street and world financial markets.
