Course Description
The high economic, environmental and social value of trees in our urban and suburban landscapes demands a basic understanding of practices related to the long-term management of trees. This course features a series of lectures, discussions, and research designed to introduce the student to the advanced professional applications of tree protection and preservation, hazard tree evaluation, tree appraisal, problem diagnosis, tree inventory procedures and urban forestry. Recognized industry standards for professional practices and ethics are also introduced.Course Outline
