Course Description
College-bound students encounter a series of standardized examinations as they progress toward college admission. The PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, ACT and Advanced Placement tests are the most common. Topics include what each exam tests for, validity of test results, issues of bias and the effect of coaching. In the realm of career planning, numerous career inventories can help students--both college-bound and otherwise--identify their career interests and propensities; some of the more widely used career instruments are highlighted.Course Outline
