Course Description
An important topic in data processing is performing numerical computations to transform the input data to certain output. While there are many different types of real-world applications, they share a relatively small number of common core algorithms. This course introduces these core numerical methods in a practical style using the Python language. The Python package for numerical computing, Numpy, is used for high-speed computation and for implementing these methods. Understanding of these fundamental methods is beneficial when the students apply the methods beyond this class.Course Outline
