An introduction to reading and analyzing construction blueprints including a review of the necessary mathematics, symbols, and drawn line interpretations.  

This course presents the software programs used to manage and control construction projects, specifically MS Project.

Examine all facets of the project management tools on a jobsite and the expected roles of the site management team. NOTE: The enrollment deadline for this course is 11:59 pm PT on Sunday before the quarter begins.

An introduction to structural analysis with a focus on the classification of structural elements and analysis of statically determinate trusses, beams, and frames.   

This course provides hands-on experience to build realistic general construction costs using RSMeans®. Topics include the preparation of quantity surveys (take-offs) and the development of material, labor, and equipment costs, including pricing of contractor and subcontractor work from actual working drawings and specifications.
