Trees have immense economic, environmental and community benefits. The Arboriculture Specializaiton informs students of these benefits and introduces them to the proper care of trees. How to properly identify and understand how trees function is important in the health of trees and the community as a whole. Students will learn the importance of proper tree selection, planting and pruning, tree inventory, diagnosing tree issues, learn applications of tree protection and preservation, evalute tree hazards and much more. Courses within the specialization qualify for CEU credit for the International Society of Arboriculture.
