5 Courses Required

The Advanced Core Program is designed for those students who wish to prepare for an administrative or supervisory role in programs for young children, ages 0-5. Course offerings include theory and methods in successful supervision and administration, leadership, program design, and California licensing requirements. We offer an integrated approach of practical methodology and current research on development and early learning. Highly respected, creative, and dynamic instructors offer classes to a diverse student body. Program and courses meet the academic requirements for California Title 5 and Title 22 regulations, Professional Growth Activities, and California Child Development Permits. Our online courses attract a national and international audience. A few courses are offered in the classroom (on-ground). Students may elect to specialize expertise by choosing from a wide variety of elective courses. Individual program counseling is available.

Courses in the X 300 to X 399 series provide credit that may lead to advanced standing in baccalaureate degree and teacher credentialing programs and are credit-bearing courses in the field of Education.
